GPS sends visitors on a funny and off the beaten path way to get to our Park through the back roads of Leelanau County.

Lansing to Traverse City
  1. Take US-27 North out of Lansing to US-10 West.
  2. Exit at M-115 West towards Cadillac.
  3. Pick up North M-37 18 miles west of Cadillac.
  4. Remain on M-37 into Traverse City.
  5. See below for directions from Traverse City to the park.
Detroit to Traverse City
Route 1 option
  1. Take I-75 North out of Detroit.
  2. Stay on I-75 to Grayling M-72 exit.
  3. Follow M-72 West to Traverse City.
  4. Once in Traverse City, remain on M-72 West until reaching M-22.
  5. See below for directions from Traverse City to the park.
Route 2 option
  1. Take I-75 north to US-10 west.
  2. Proceed to M-115 northwest to M-37 north.
  3. Follow M-37 north to Traverse City.
  4. See below for directions from Traverse City to the park.
Grand Rapids to Traverse City
  1. Take US-131 north to M-115.
  2. Turn left (west) on M-115.
  3. Proceed 18 miles to M-37 north.
  4. Turn right (north) on M-37.
  5. Proceed 27 miles to Traverse City.

Chicago to Traverse City
  1. Take I-94 east to I-196.
  2. Take I-196 north to Grand Rapids.
  3. Exit at US 131 north, then follow directions from Grand Rapids starting at step 1.

Traverse City to the park
  1. Take M-22 North 14 miles to Suttons Bay.
  2. Turn west (left) on M-204.
  3. Follow 4 miles to Lake Leelanau.
  4. Cross small bridge, then turn South (left) on Lake Shore Drive (643).
  5. Go 3.5 miles to the Lake Leelanau RV Park.
